What is Fire Damascus?

Fire Damascus begins as traditional Damascus steel — forge-welded from alternating layers of high and low carbon steel to create the iconic flowing wave pattern. The blade is then subjected to a controlled heat and acid treatment that oxidizes the surface, bringing out dramatic warm tones of amber, copper, bronze, and deep charcoal. The result is a blade that appears to glow from within — as if the fire of the forge never fully left the steel.
